Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. Ashley Graham was bullied regularly in school due to her large thighs. Her family consisted of two sisters. Graham was diagnosed with A.D.H.D. shortly after she finished primary school, was diagnosed with A.D.H.D. However, she was able to overcome it as well as many other difficulties in her younger teenage years. Graham, then 12 years older, was discovered by a Nebraska talent agent in a Nebraska mall. Her image was featured in magazines and advertisements before her graduation at Lincoln Southwest High School. The process was challenging to gain work because of her unusual body shape at the beginning of her career. Graham took on a variety of models from catalogs over time. Yet, she was always told that it would be impossible for her to progress past smaller assignments. She was fortunate to prove sessions casters wrong, and she progressed rapidly. Sally Singer, the editor of "Vogue", interview her back in 2007. This was her first big break. The following year, in 2009, Graham was featured in "Glamour's" "These Bodies Are Beautiful At Any Size". Graham made headlines again in 2009 after she was featured in the scandalous Lane Bryant commercial that ultimately was struck down in a number of countries. When the advertisement was pulled from YouTube the video had already been watched by more than 800,000. The issue became unbearable and she spoke out during the "Tonight Tonight Show" hosted by Jay Leno. Graham was soon a well-known Plus-sized model. Grande was just a child when she began acting and singing. Her first appearance was a minor performance in Broadway's show 13 in 2008. Soon after, she began acting in various television programs. The highlight of her career came in 2010 when she landed a role in the Nickelodeon show Victorious. The show featured her as Cat Valentine a teenage girl studying at a school for performing arts. Sam & Cat was the spin-off from her sitcom which aired in 2013 after it was cancelled.
